Emergency Road Closure - East Street, Hunton - 26th March 2026

It will be necessary to close East Street, Hunton from 26th March 2026 for up to 2 days.

The road will be closed from The Old Bull House to Reed Court Cottages.

The alternative route is via East Street, Hunton Hill, Upper Hunton Hill, B2163 Heath Road, A229 Linton Hill, A229 Staplehurst Road, B2079 Maidstone Road, Underlyn Lane, Green Lane, Hunton Road, and vice versa.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 09:00 hrs and 16:30 hrs each day.

This is to enable carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent County Council.
