Maidstone Borough Council Survey - Violence Against Women & Girls

Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) is a serious and ongoing issue that affects our communities.  Following a Full Council motion in December 2024, Maidstone Borough Council promised to create ways to reduce VAWG in the borough.  This includes developing a VAWG strategy and supporting a Women’s Night-Time Safety Charter.

To ensure these efforts are effective and meet resident needs, Maidstone Borough Council is launching a survey to gather diverse experiences and priorities from across Maidstone.  This crucial feedback will inform the Community Discussion on VAWG taking place early next year, helping to shape concrete, resident-led recommendations for the Council and its partners.
