Phishing Email Alert from Maidstone Borough Council

Maidstone Borough Council has been alerted to fraudulent emails asking recipients to provide personal information. These messages, which claim to be from “Parking Services”, are not genuine and are not affiliated with the Council.

The email is a scam and should be deleted immediately.

Do not click any links or provide personal information.

If anyone has clicked a link or shared details, they should change their passwords as soon as possible and take appropriate precautions.

Maidstone Borough Council is investigating this incident in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. At this stage, there is no indication of a breach of council systems.
